  • Joe Way, Director, Learning Environments, University of Southern California

    Dr. Josiah Way is the Director of Learning Environments at the University of Southern California and 2019 AV Professional of the Year. He was named to EdTech’s Higher Ed IT Top Influencers list, and most recently was awarded 2021 AV Project of the Year for his revolutionary hybrid learning space installation at USC. Joe is the CEO of the Higher Ed AV Media Group, hosts Higher Ed AV podcast, and is the co-founder and chair of the Higher Education Technology Managers Alliance (HETMA.org).

  • BC Hatchett, Associate Director, Classroom Technology, Vanderbilt University

    BC Hatchett is the Associate Director of Classroom Technology at Vanderbilt University. An instructional technology professional with experience in both educational and media production settings, BC is passionate about enhancing education through the use of technology. BC will be sharing his experience building self-serve video recording studios.

  • Scott LaBounty, Associate Athletic Director, Broadcasting and Video, University of Oregon Athletics

    Scott LaBounty is the Associate Athletic Director of Broadcasting and Video at the University of Oregon Athletics. Scott has managed and overseen numerous oversees and manages the video department for the University of Oregon Athletic Department. Scott will be speaking about athletic event capture and streaming.

  • James Copeland, IT-AV Team Director, Classroom Technology Client Services, Middle Tennessee State University

    James is the IT-AV Team Director of Classroom Technology Client Services at MTSU. James is the architect behind one of the largest classroom capture deployments in the country and will be presenting this project.
